Tiffany DiehI earned a BA in Psychology with a minor in Family Studies from the University of Kentucky. She completed some post-graduate studies in Social Work at the University of Louisville. Tiffany has worked for Brown-Forman as the HR Manager for Production Operations for 10 years. Prior to that, she worked in marketing/HR for a local accounting firm. Tiffany currently volunteers within Brown-Forman for the Fund for the Arts and Metro United Way campaigns. She serves on the regional board of Junior Achievement and the Douglass Hills Swim & Dive team. She and her husband are parents of a son and daughter.
Hubert Kirchgaessner was born and raised in West Germany. His undergraduate studies were in economy and psychology at the University of Munich. In Munich, Hubert worked for Siemens Corp and Messerschmitt-Boelkow-Blohm before accepting a Fulbright Scholarship to take up graduate studies at the Kelley School of Business at IU. He graduated with a Master of Business Administration from IU, and briefly worked in Market Research for Eli Lilly in Indianapolis. Hubert works as Information Security Manager in Cincinnati, Ohio. Hubert and his wife are the parents of two young children.
Susan E. Moss has served as Vice President of Corporate Communications of Kindred Healthcare since May 1996. She is responsible for internal and external communications. Prior to joining Kindred, Ms. Moss founded Kentucky’s third largest public relations and marketing business specializing in consumer public relations. She has been in public relations more than 20 years. Ms. Moss ran the public relations and marketing department for Portland Federal, currently known as Fifth Third Bank, before starting her own business. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications with a teaching certificate in speech, drama and music. Susan and her husband are raising three children.
Mary Stone is Vice-President of Operations for Peggy Noe Stevens and Associates and adoptive mother. She graduated from Transylvania University with a bachelor’s degree in business. Ms. Stone was previously with Brown Foreman Corporation. She is a strong advocate for adoptive parents and has been instrumental in helping corporations change their leave policies for adoptive parents. Mary serves on the board of directors or volunteers at several other children’s charities, including Christ Church Week Day School, Junior Achievement, and Wags.
Todd Twyman is a Vice President Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. Prior to that, we worked As Vice President Investment Executive for UBS PaineWeber. Todd obtained his bachelor’s degree in business administration in finance from the University of Kentucky. He is a certified financial planner and holds several securities licenses. He is a member of the Certified Financial Planning Association. He volunteered to mentor youth at Big Brothers Big Sisters. He and his wife are parents to a young son.
Daniele Longo brings professional business development and marketing experience, as well as community involvement, to the board. He currently works in international business development. Previously, he served as Vice President, Business Development and International Trade, of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce. Daniele also worked for Proctor & Gamble Company both in the domestic and international arenas. His volunteer activities include service for organizations focused on entrepreneurship and business development. Daniele earned an MBA from Northern Kentucky University. He is an adoptive parent of two children.
Retired from Baptist Hospital East, Joyce Cardwell keeps busy with volunteer activities and grandchildren. She continues to volunteer at the hospital by helping the secretarial and nursing staff. Even when she was working, she found time to volunteer with Special Olympics for more than twenty years. She taught ice skating to Special Olympic athletes, and was active with Moms on Ice. For more than seven years, Joyce has volunteered with CampBravehearts, where she does arts and crafts activities with children who have heart problems. She is the mother of four daughters and a son.
Martha Vozos spent twenty-two years with the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Services. She worked as an Out of Home Care Branch Manager, an Internal Policy Analyst in the Division for Protection and Permanency, a Social Service Clinician in the Department for Community Based Services, Foster Care Team, and a Family Services Clinician in foster care/adoption. Martha served on the Board of Directors for the National Foster Parent Association for six years. She also was the coordinator for AdoptUSKids recruitment program in Kentucky. Martha earned a MSSW from the Kent School at UofL.
Mitchell Myers has more than seventeen years of experience in diverse intelligence and computer network operations in a military environment with significant importance to homeland security. In addition to management, program development, and marketing experience, Mitch has studied foreign languages and has an interest in understanding cultural diversity. Mitch has extensive military education and earned his Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law. He also teaches graduate level intelligence studies for the American Public University System. He is an adoptive parent.
