Dear Birthmother,
I want to start by telling you that you are truly a very, very special person. We know you are making a very tough decision and please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. There are not many people that could put their feelings aside and make the decision that you are making; it is truly the most unselfish decision any person could ever make.
My husband, Shannon, and I have been married for 11 wonderful years now. We are very grateful to have each other and thank God daily for sending us to each other. We have one son Tyler who was eight when Shannon and I met; Shannon adopted him later in our marriage. I was 18 when I had Tyler and he is truly a blessing and for many years it was just me and him. We have wanted to expand our family for years. Our hearts and home long for another child. We hope you will consider our family.
Shannon is a manager of a large company and Susie is a Registered Nurse. We both have close, loving Christian families. Shannon is strong, patient, and always finds the positive in everything. I always tell him that he is my safe place to come when I need comforted. I also consider myself to be funny, compassionate, and a kind person. Working in the nursing field allows me to show that side of personality daily. Tyler works full-time as an electrician. He has always wanted a sibling and is excited to meet his new sister or brother. We live in a three story home, with a swimming pool in the country. We have lots of room to play and swim. In the winter we have fun sleigh riding and sitting in front of the fire place watching movies.
Again thank you so much for considering our family. You are truly a very unique and special person. Please know that your child would be loved by us and so many more members of our family. Our home is full of love, humor, prayer, and compassion.
