First, and most importantly, we would like to say thank you for considering adoption for your child. You may be the answer to the prayers of a lucky couple somewhere. It is a decision that takes incredible strength and love and your baby is blessed to have such a mother.
My husband, Josh, and I have been married for five years and have always wanted to be parents. About three years ago we decided that we were ready to start trying to get pregnant. After many doctors visits and considerable disappointment with infertility treatments, we took a deeper look at our desires. Without question, our most important goal is to have a healthy, happy family and we firmly believe that adoption is the right path for us. We look forward to family vacations, playing in our big back yard, putting artwork on the refrigerator, and proudly attending school functions. We can promise you that we would give a child a home filled with love and laughter from both Josh and myself as well as our large extended family. We also promise to be open to your wishes about how you would like for us to eventually discuss your decision to create an adoption plan. Hopefully, if you choose to get to know us, you will feel comfortable and excited about the future. Whether it is us or another couple you choose to bless, we wish you well.
